EVAFOA Presents CHKD with $5,711 Donation

On March 4th and 5th, the Eastern Virginia Franchise Owners Association (Eastern Virginia FOA), a member of the National Coalition of Associations of 7-Eleven Franchisees, invited Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, to attend their Annual Charity Golf Event and Trade Show.

The events brought together local 7-Eleven franchisees, who are members of the Eastern Virginia FOA, and vendors for an opportunity to golf, network, and view product.

CHKD had the opportunity to meet the franchisees and vendors and share the impact that their support is making, and the EVAFOA presented CHKD with a $5,711 donation.

In 2023, throughout the CHKD health system, patients made 8,268 visits to our cancer clinic, we had 515 admissions to our neonatal intensive care unit, and 1,413 admissions to our pediatric intensive care unit. Pediatric surgeons performed 13,358 cases at CHKD facilities. We cared for 384,043 primary care visits, 213260 outpatient appointments, 106,171 urgent care visits, and 63,134 visits to our emergency department.

In 2023, Eastern Virginia FOA raised over $20,000 for CHKD. It is because of partners like the Eastern Virginia FOA that we can provide critical resources, help thousands of children, and make CHKD so much more than a hospital.
