Speedway is Helping CHKD Change Kids’ Health May 18-21!

Speedway, part of 7-Eleven, Inc., is fueling miracles for kids and their families at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD), a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), May 18 – 21. It is important that member children’s hospitals have the support they need to help kids receive the best possible care.

This weekend, stop in to your local Speedway store and donate to fuel miracles and change kids’ health. Your donation will make a difference in the community by raising funds for CHKD to improve medical treatments, equipment and facilities along with providing child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays. These funds allow CHKD to address the most challenging health issues today and prevent and prepare for those to come.

Patients like Maximiliano (Max) who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2020. Two years later, Max finished treatment and celebrated the moment in a parade of confetti at CHKD. Now 4 years old, Max remains in remission and visits CHKD for regular check ups.

Speedway has been a proud partner of CMNH for more than 30 years and has raised more than $375,000 for CHKD. Their support has brought joy and healing to kids treated in the hospital in many ways and they understand children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations.
