Rite Aid celebrates milestone fundraising for CMN Hospitals!

Rite Aid has a long-standing tradition of supporting Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) in Norfolk, Virginia, the two having been partners for years.

In 2020, Rite Aid donated over $114,000 to CHKD to help pediatric patients and their families access the specialized care they need today. Donations collected at your neighborhood pharmacy location help change the future of a local child, like Tyshaun.

Tyshaun was born with several birth defects and needed a tracheotomy to help him breathe plus a G-tube to provide nutrition. With so many health risks, he spent his first two years at CHKD where he and staff celebrated his first words, steps, and birthday with his mom Michelle. Tyshaun received care from multiple CHKD specialties before he was able to go home for the first time.

Rite Aid’s continued support ensures kids like Tyshaun get the care they need for the future they deserve. As a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, CHKD is grateful to Rite Aid customers and corporate partners who have collectively donated more than $100 million to kids treated over the past 26 years!
